I want to go back to Washington DC.

Back in April 2011, I went to Washington DC. There were things I didn't get to see that I wish I had. I am going to make a list:

National Archives - Declaration of Independence, Constitution, Bill of Rights

National Zoo - from the official web site: “We are a 163-acre zoological park set amid Rock Creek Park in the heart of Washington, D.C. Open to the public 364 days a year, we are home to 2,000 individual animals of nearly 400 different species. Our best known residents are our giant pandas, Tian Tian and Mei Xiang.”

Library of Congress - from the official web site: “The Library of Congress occupies three buildings on Capitol Hill. The buildings are remarkable public spaces and public works of art. Each is named after a President of the United States who has a strong connection with the creation of Congress’s library.”

Ford’s Theatre - from the official web site: “The site of the April 14, 1865, assassination of President Lincoln, Ford’s Theatre holds a unique place in United States history. The theatre has enthralled millions of visitors since its reopening in 1968, and it is one of the most visited sites in the nation’s capital.”

Here are a few more:
I am sure there are more places I would like to visit after I figured out what they are I can make another post.

I have been following several accounts on Twitter because I loved being in Washington DC:

Here are some links on Washington DC I like using to look up things to do in DC:
  • http://msqrealty.com/ - a place to look up real estate properties in Washington DC. I was hoping I would see some rentals there but I haven’t had the chance to look into the web site much.
  • http://www.welovedc.com/ - from the web site: “We Love DC.  You think there’d need to be more to band together a group of writers, but this is our common element.  We Love DC.  Sure, we think DC dates the wrong person once in a while, and may or not have worn something that we thought was pretty much atrocious, but We Love DC anyway.  DC has been many things for us; it has been home and shelter, adventure and retreat, love and war.  Here we all are, to give it our best.”

I can't wait to begin blogging here

St. Louis Arch

Hello! I am so glad I created this blog. I made this blog to write about the things that I love to Discover. Create. Inspire.

Discover - I love discovering new things to do, places to see, crafts to make. I love creating ideas for things and sharing them.

Create - I LOVE photography. I take photos every chance I get. When I can't take my Pentax K-r with me, I take my Nikon Coolpix L12 or my iPod Touch 5 so I always have a camera with me. I mostly take photos of landscapes, nature, zoo animals, and travel destinations. I also love doing arts and crafts. I have been collecting things to make into a collage.

Inspire - I love discovering new things to do, different ways to take photos, places to see, crafts to make. I love creating ideas for things and sharing them. I was told by someone that my photography inspires them. This inspired me to take more photos.

Thank you for visiting my blog. I look forward to sharing things with you and hopefully I will inspire you :o)
